Soccer Practice
Tilly went with all her friends to have soccer practice yesterday. When we arrived we were told it was a two hour lesson!! Can you imagine, 3 year olds following instructions for a soccer lesson for two hours? Well, most of us only stayed one. The lesson ended in tears for Tills as she didn't hit it off with the teacher. Tills wasn't into following instructions and couldn't care less whether or not in soccer you aren't allowed to use your hands. The teacher was a little too serious, it really should only be for fun no? Anyway, it ended with the teacher holding her for some reason (I missed it) and saying something to her and Tills took off crying to me. I said no worries love, times up, let's skidaddle. She calmed down fairly quickly and I asked her would she like to come back for more lessons with her friends again. Well, the answer was a resounding no. I don't like soccer mum, and I don't like that teacher. I asked her maybe she liked the soccer but the teacher might have just put her off and should we try again next week. Nope, don't like soccer. She walked away from it all happily. Just dropped the whole thing like a hot potato. Haha, like water off a ducks back. I wondered would this be a problem in the future, Tills not liking something and just walking away. But now that I think about it, she attends two other classes (one her Sunday school class and the other her Tuesday playgroup - both without me there) and she loves them both. So, it was simply a case of this isn't working for me, and I'm outta here. Despite all that, the photos are cute and it was a great afternoon in the park.
