New learning...
Tilly has started reading! I used these when I was in my last teaching job and I really love them. I can't remember how I got on to them, but they are Australian and sold in my favourite bookstore here. Tilly enjoys looking at them and has started actually reading them. I made her these word cards so she could make sentences. We had all sorts of fun today making sentences. She put together "A fat cat sat on a mat." And sounded each word out and read it perfectly.

Good on ya, Tilly!!! It is so fun when they start reading and writing! I'm loving it!!! We also got Hunter onto Australian learning site www.readingeggs.com It has been a fun way for him to learn sounds, words and computer mouse skills. when they do their free trial, it's worth giving it a try.
