A bit more

Lyla Furness, newest addition.
Amongst Poppy's roses. After a bath and eating Custard & Plum Pudding. She later called her Daddy and said, "My favourite thing is custard and plum pudding." A spot of cooking with Nanny. Vegemite

Looking Back ~ Daphie

In November last year I had the most wonderful 'holiday' in Taiwan when mum and dad came over (always a highlight) and were later joined by Aunty Daph and Uncle Kev. What a lovely time that was for me, having Daph and Kev there made it extra special for all of us. We went back to the hotel they were staying at, after they'd left, to have Yum Cha with Steve's family and both Dad and I said at the same time how nostaglic we felt as we came down the stairs! So silly, but their visit there had been cosy and extremely comforting for me, it added an extra familial element to mum and dad's visit. Of course a visit by Daph and Kev was always a wonderful experience for me, whatever the country. Daph rang before they came to Taiwan, they had it all worked out, even had me down on the map where I lived and how they would get around. It was a holiday I'll not forget. I hadn't thought that it would be the last time I would see Daph and I was looking forward to seeing her at the end of this visit to Australia. But, it was not to be. So I'll post a couple of pictures of our trip together because I am so glad that I was able to have that experience. Trips to the mountains, stairs much contemplated by Daph before they were attempted and the train at the bottom of those stairs, hair styling with product bought from the Watsons next door, chicken feet, and Kevie's charms on Tilly. A lovely time.

Uncle Mitch & crew

Mitch pretending to look dubious as he accepts Steve's offer of a shot of KaoLiang!
Unlike her mother Tilly is fascinated with anything
that is small and crawls. I can't count the number of
ants I've felt compelled to rescue. One took their revenge
and she was duly bitten on the finger, but stayed
composed throughout and not the least deterred.
Working it!
Ethnee and Ronan, gentle caring big cousins to
take care of Tills.

Two ~ at home and the coast

At Byron Bay ~ we love it here.
At Currumbin Bird Sanctuary. Have a great
video of Tilly and I feeding the lorrikeets.
At Cabarita, enjoying Bob & family. Tilly loves
her cousins.
First meets with Lyla, such a sweet baby.
Boydie's fav thing ever is 'jump'. He incites a lot
of excitement, 'Jump Tilly Jump!!' (Which ends up with
me chasing them around the bed yelling 'Get off before
you break your necks!')
The resort at Cabarita, a great place.
At Joshie's house, Uncle Nug sure does cook a roast
and the girls are sweetie playmates.

Back on the farm

We're back in Australia having a break. Steve's just back to Taiwan now and we have another two weeks. Tilly has had a full weekend with all her cousins. More photos later.
